By boat or kayak you can reach terrific hidden coves and fantastic snorkeling sites that are otherwise unaccessible. Ocean kayaking has become very popular in recent years, and the calm waters off the west coast provide ideal conditions. Winds gusting down from the mountains make sailing and windsurfing a little tricky at times, but those with experience should be up to the challenge.
